Mindset Learn and TeamMindset visited Fumana Comprehensive School in the Eastrand, we had an opportunity to address over 1000 learners in grades 10 to 12 motivating and inspiring them to Learn more, Learn Xtra! We also informed them about our content and gave the school Library 20 IT Resource packs and 50 subject CD’s so the learners could book them out and use them in study groups. A few lucky learners got T-shirts, Lanyards, Pens and USB’s.
The main aim of the visit was to inspire learners and help them realize the best they can be with education all through what Mindset offers.
The whole school welcomed us with love and great appreciation. From the responses we had on our Facebook page the visit was of great value and they wish we can go on and also visit other schools to improve our education system. Inspiring one learner at a time.
We were warmly welcomed by principle Mr Mkhwanazi as well as all the teachers and we took to the stage to address all the learners. Phumelele Ndlazi shared what its like at varsity, what the Matriculants can expect and also how to find balance between their studies and hobbies. Indianna spoke next talking about social media, its role and how it helps during live shows and the impact Mindset Learn has on their studies. Last but not least Mindset Presenter and former student of the school, Abram, shared his personal experience and motivated the learners on how they can consider themselves POWERFUL not POWERFOOL’s.
TeamMindset left feeling inspired and with at least 40 new likes on the page that day we left knowing that we need to do more school visits making our online community bigger and better every day.
