Skimming and Scanning I

In this lesson we differentiate between skimming and scanning. As it is impossible to show large quantities of text on a television screen, the examples in the lesson are insufficient for learners to practise these skills. To support this lesson, it would be worthwhile setting up additional activities where you ask each learner to skim and scan a newspaper to find specific information.
